Clubhouse Usage Rules

The Clubhouse is for the use of Village Green residents in good standing and their guests only.  By reserving the Clubhouse, the user agrees to abide by the following:

Deposits

A $50 deposit is required. For one-time events, the deposit will be refunded after the Clubhouse is found to be clean and in good order and the key is returned.

If the Clubhouse is not found to be clean and in good order and/or the key is not returned, the deposit will be applied toward cleaning, repairs and/or key replacement, but should not be considered a limitation of the user's responsibility.

For recurring events, the deposit will be held for 3 months, after which it will be refunded (and no further deposit required) if the user consistently leaves the Clubhouse clean and in good order. However, if the deposit must be applied toward cleaning, repairs or key replacement, a new deposit will be required prior to further use.

If a recurring user consistently fails to leave the Clubhouse clean and in good order, privileges will be revoked.

Use and Care of the Facility

It is the responsibility of the user to treat the Clubhouse with care and to leave it clean and in good order for the next event.

The Clubhouse is a NO SMOKING facility. Those who smoke must do so outside the building. All smoking debris must be removed.

Residents wishing to use the pool and Clubhouse simultaneously must make arrangements with the managers of both facilities.

Decorations may be attached to walls or furnishings only with blue easy-release tape.

Paper towels, bath tissue and trash liners are provided. All other supplies are the user's responsibility.

Damage and/or maintenance concerns should be reported to the Clubhouse manager promptly.

A cleanup checklist and supplies are provided. The Clubhouse will be inspected after each use.

Safety and Security

The resident reserving the Clubhouse must be present at the event and is responsible for the safety and security of both the guests and the Clubhouse.

Guests must park in the parking lot rather than in the street whenever possible. No event should impede the flow of traffic in the Clubhouse area.

Guests must not loiter on the Clubhouse grounds; however, organized activities and picnics are permitted.

Adult chaperones are required for youth events according to the following youth-to-adult ratios:

                                     Under age 10......5:1

                                     Ages 11-15.......10:1

                                     Ages 16-18.........8:1

In order to ensure the integrity and safety of the neighborhood, the reserving host may be required to provide security personnel for certain events.

Fire Code

The fire department has determined that 90 is the maximum safe occupancy for the Clubhouse.

If it is found that attendance at any event exceeds this number, the event will immediately be halted.

Village Green will be held harmless and all rights of recovery, claim, action or cause of action against Village Green, it's agents, officers or employees for loss or damages that may occur shall be waived. In addition, Clubhouse privileges will be revoked.

Village Green Homeowners Board, represented by the President or any Board Member, reserves the right to halt any event for failure to comply with these regulations, or, in its sole discretion, in the interest of the safety and security of the guests, Clubhouse or neighborhood.
